A Notation for Computational Mechanisms of Interaction
نویسنده
چکیده
The present report documents the research activities undertaken in Task 3.2 of the COMIC project. The objective of the three years of research of Strand 3 is to develop a conceptual foundation for designing computational mechanisms of interaction for CSCW applications that can support the complex task of articulating distributed cooperative activities. The present deliverable argues that a common computational notation for constructing different types of computational mechanisms of interaction is feasible and specifies a three level architecture by means of which the notation in principle makes it possible to construct mechanisms of interaction that are malleable to any degree deemed appropriate for any particular setting. Study of PKA binding sites in cAMP-signaling pathway using structural protein-protein interaction networks
Backgroud: Protein-protein interaction, plays a key role in signal transduction in signaling pathways. Different approaches are used for prediction of these interactions including experimental and computational approaches. In conventional node-edge protein-protein interaction networks, we can only see which proteins interact but ‘structural networks’ show us how these proteins inter...
متن کاملComparison of the learning of two notations: A pilot study
Introduction: MICAP is a new notation in which the teeth areindicated by letters (I-incisor, C-canine, P-premolar, M-molar)and numbers [1,2,3] which are written superscript and subscripton the relevant letters. FDI tooth notation is a two digit systemwhere one digit shows quadrant and the second one shows thetooth of the quadrant. This study aimed to compare the short termretention of knowledge...
متن کاملNURBS-Based Isogeometric Analysis Method Application to Mixed-Mode Computational Fracture Mechanics
An interaction integral method for evaluating mixed-mode stress intensity factors (SIFs) for two dimensional crack problems using NURBS-based isogeometric analysis method is investigated. The interaction integral method is based on the path independent J-integral. By introducing a known auxiliary field solution, the mixed-mode SIFs are calculated simultaneously. Among features of B-spline basis...

متن کاملA computational chemistry investigation of the intermolecular interaction between ozone and isothiocyanic acid (HNCS)
The binding energy and geometrical structure of all the possible dimeric systems of isothiocyanic acid (HNCS) with ozone have been investigated in the gas phase, theoretically. Six minima located on the singlet potential energy surface of the HNCS–ozone system at the MP2 level with binding energies (corrected with ZPE and BSSE) in the range 492.29–531.40 kcal/mol. All intermolecular interaction...
